Online Video Ripping

Its fair to say that almost anyone with access to a computer or have signed up to sites like YouTube or Metacafe or watched the video of one of these websites, which is why the online video business is growing every day, but how do we protect against video piracy?

The fact is that it is impossible to protect us from piracy video, online videos that are hosted on Web sites are constantly 'download' and 'ripped' from the public in general. I suspect that the music industry is taking the biggest hit and will continue to see a drop in sales as the word gets round, music videos that are hosted on websites like Youtube can be torn free of charge, from time to time for a small fee. This is against the law as the artist or artist's agent and his copyright every time you pulled the video of the copyright law is broken, even if Google is trying to fight piracy software on video using YouTube Video Identification that allows only the holder of copyright 'claim their content' that people will not stop the download and ripping the video directly on your computer.

As an example I found a site http://www.vidripscript.com the other day that allows users to 'Rip Video Online' for free, they can not even apply for registration so that anyone can use and we have no idea who ripping video right now. This web site does not download all the video extract audio from video and save it directly to your computer, so if a musician has released a new song and used Youtube to promote the individual may be on the hard drive of the people a few hours after it heard on the radio.

Can Google and YouTube do more to protect the original copyright holders or the world of the Internet as we know it to large to the police? ......
