Reading Gloria Steinem of "Outrageous acts and everyday rebellions - second edition"

I bought my copy from a thrift shop because I was curious about how Ms. Steinem did a gig as a Playboy bunny in order to develop an article that has at least 43 pages of this book. I was more than satisfied by this article, and I learned a lot from her. Imagine her doing the concert, and live to tell the story at all curious readers like me. And continuing with the reading of the book after you put down in the meantime, in order to concentrate on my other readings, I found my copy again after some time had passed. I decided that I must finish reading his book. And it was certainly worth the time. A number of papers has opened the eyes of well known celebrities we hear in our daily lives. Imagine also what the late Linda Lovelace of "Deep Throat" fame has endured just to be sure that he was a slave by her manager-husband then, when videos were shot 70s. Well, I read all of these on the book by Ms. Steinem.

Writing as a way of life, continues to share many of his ideas and stories from a perspective of someone who has done a lot of research work, and made active participation in events that surely would have eaten so much of his time only to come up with articles written in the clearest and included in this book. I said: "If only all writers that write just like her, or at least, be inspired by her, would not be better to write all over the world these days." I mean, Ms. Steinem is a writer who writes solidly by his experiences. She is not a boring writer, based on what I read in his book. These are all non-fiction works, which added the book (except for the article on "campaign" that took me a while 'to appreciate --- perhaps because it is dated, the rest of the wonderful articles to read before my eyes).

I remember the tears in my eyes while reading his ode to his beloved mother Ruth (who is one of the best short biographies I've read to date). "Erotica and Pornography" was certainly another, which led me to think why I was pretty excited when I see subtle representation and in-your-face violence and humiliation in all types of pornography in the media that surround us usual - --- is simply dehumanizing reality, but nothing doing much against it, as it really is big business. Moreover, it functions as a place of generating money for the same structure that continues to defend the inequality between the sexes, in all realms out there. And on the other hand, things Erotica, in fact, actually flies! Know why after reading this book.

Wow! I am convinced that it must be transformed into a feminist myself after reading this book .......
