Why You Never should give your eBay ID details to a competitor

There is a lot of talk going on right now in online forums, including eBay PowerSellers, especially those that sell e-books and other products to make money on eBay. A series of comments I noticed today is born with a PowerSeller stating that he had been asked for his ID eBay to see what was selling, then a person who pretends to be a potential buyer eBook, could verify the actual seller against the alleged success of eBay, the first order. A whole series of negative feedback came for PowerSellers that same day by different eBay buyers, with no more than ten or twenty points of feedback.

It was found the individual tries to ID this person was also an eBay PowerSeller, although he had not left feedback from its own account for fear of getting negative feedback in return from PowerSellers whose trust has been abused. Instead, he was enrolled 'friends' to open accounts, buy, then leave a negative feedback. A little detective work 'and paid the author was soon revealed and expelled from eBay. But it is not always so easy!

Several major PowerSeller reported similar problems, all had innocently given their eBay ID unavailable to people who then, apparently, recruited others to leave a negative feedback important for many eBay sellers.

Some of these bad people are very nice and they realize anyone joining eBay just to give a negative feedback will be quickly expelled from the site, in which case we removed all the comments left by members expelled from the system. This, of course, restore an earlier feedback to compensate victims of abuses of Powersellers. Hence, intelligent individuals recruiting others to do their dirty work to ensure that any new eBayer buys at least a dozen e-books to generate positive feedback before leaving the odd negative or two. Problem solved.

Only, now, with more and more people leaving messages in the forum in question, a great American name PowerSeller began recording details of all the people leaving negative feedback for other members you hope to find a model that will highlight original sources.

It 'a hot topic: do you or do you give others your eBay ID? I've always done, I know others who are becoming PowerSellers and have not encountered problems yet! And before going any further, yes, I fell victim to this terrible practice. I received four negative within two minutes from someone via e-mail to ask for my ID which I gave. This, not so cute or clever as the operators of today, has left a negative feedback from his eBay account just before yet been billed or paid for the products in question, that in the books of eBay is cause for immediate dismissal!

It 's really what are you doing giving identification details, but I suggest that you confirm the email address of the person making the request. You could also ask them to give their eBay ID and for you to respond directly through eBay that records the communication and is proof enough for eBay to investigate the matter .......
